As part of a longstanding product collaboration with the One&Only Cape Town, Ceremony provides the hotel group with a selection of our signature yoga mats for the hotel's on-site fitness centre.
The One&Only Cape Town opened in 2009 along Cape Town’s iconic V&A Waterfront. With exquisite views of Table Mountain, the resort is one of Cape Town’s premier city-centre hotels. Alongside its five-star accommodation, the resort houses Cape Town’s flagship Nobu, a restaurant with the city’s most elevated Japanese menu, as well as the One&Only Spa. As part of the hotel's wider wellness offering, the hotel’s fitness centre has a dedicated space for group classes, fitted with our Ceremony yoga mats.
This collaboration saw our favourite beige, round-edged yoga mats, which we would typically use for our yoga studio events, integrated into one of Cape Town’s most recognised hotels. In line with our brand's vision, our intention for these mats were to elevate the small, everyday moments of physical exercise and meditation.
The design of our yoga mats was considered specifically with this type of environment in mind. They are durable and minimally designed to blend into the hotel gym, providing a supportive foundation for guests to practice their preferred form of movement. They fit particularly well in this space, lining up with the floorboards to carefully protect the joints in the woodwork. Our mats are also used during the One&Only private Table Mountain excursions, an experience available only to hotel guests.
We love visiting the One&Only gym and seeing our mats being used as they were intended, and we look forward to what the next chapter of collaboration will bring.
